Join Professor Montague Tobias  Wobblebottom IV in a fantastical romp through time where laughter and learning go hand in hand. Children will giggle and laugh at the jokes, magic and antics throughout this creative and original prehistoric adventure.
This is a celebration of imagination, exploration, and the wonders of the natural world. Perfect to inspire young readers to grow a love for reading, adventure, and a deep appreciation for the natural world and the magic of our incredible Earth.

What to Know for Toby’s Visit

  • Toby arrives at least 30 minutes before showtime.

  • Please reserve a parking spot near the entrance to the performance area.

  • The show rolls in on a cart – no stairs, please.
    The show fits in a wheelchiar lift.

  • Performance space requested: 8' x 8' (Toby can adapt if needed). Electrical outlet within 25 feet is helpful.

  • Audience may enter 30 minutes before the show, even while Toby is setting up.

  • Please seat the audience close to the front. Children seated on the floor works best. Toby will bring stage markers.

  • No introduction is required, but you’re welcome to do one. Just let Toby know when you’d like the show to begin.

  • Program length: approximately 45 minutes.

  • Photo opportunity following the show with Toby and the baby T-Rex puppet.

  • Payment is appreciated before the show begins.​

In the whimsical world of "A Mesozoic Adventure," young readers are invited to embark on an extraordinary journey through time with the delightfully silly archaeologist, Professor Montague Tobias Wobblebottom IV. An expedition leader who is anything but ordinary.

Professor Toby has an ancient book showing a way to dig through the Earth's timeline! With his heart racing and his imagination soaring, he gathers his magical toolbox stuffed with quirky tools and sets off on an outrageous adventure. Armed with his contagious insatiable curiosity, he invites everyone to join him in unearthing humorous history.

The hilarious archaeologist takes the audience on an epic journey. Educational and entertaining, this expedition is a fantastical tale that sparks the imagination and encourages children to embrace their curiosity. The story is sprinkled with fun facts about dinosaurs and the Earth’s four-billion-year history. Thus, making it a delightful immersion for both kids and their parents.

Toby magically demonstrates earth's timeline. There is a box of snakes, a box of rocks, and a real fossil is discovered for the library to keep. Things get a bit scary when a Megalodon smells fresh meat. And the excitement continues as the largest flying creature ever to grace the skies is uncovered. With its enormous wingspan, this ancient creature ignites the audience's quest to learn. 

"A Mesozoic Adventure" is not just a tale of time travel; it’s an invitation to embark on an unforgettable journey through the ages, where every adventure is a chance to learn, laugh, and grow.
